4-7-07
John P
My father was John Leo Hanifin who served as a corporal in The Great War (WWI).
His father was William (C?) Hanifin of Florence, N.Y. He married Hannah Sullivan. He worked for the New York Central Railroad. He or his family emmigrated from Ireland. I don't know boat name or date nor do I know the port of origin but they came to New York City. I have faaint knowledge that their home was around Dingle Peninsula.

I have tried to reach Roman Catholic churches in the Dingle area but don't know how to go about this.

Do you have any relevant info?
Jackie
