Great site Brian!

This is the Hannifin I have in my line:

Katie Hannifin b: Lisdargan
married:Ned Sheain Aodha O’Connor (Edward John Hugh)
Ned- b: Feb 16, 1845 Kilcooly, Ireland d: Kilcooly, Ireland

Itís the only information I have on her as she was a spouse in my O’Connor line. I believe her descendants are the present day O’Connor family of Ballydavid also near Dingle.

I did a search of the heads of household in Lisdargan on the CD to the Index to Griffith’s Valuation of Ireland, 1848-1864, which was done in Kerry 1851/52,:

Hannafin, Patrick County : Kerry
Parish : Cloghane
Location : Lisdargan
————————————–
Hannafin, Thomas County : Kerry
Parish : Cloghane
Location : Lisdargan
————————————–
Hannifin, Patrick County : Kerry

Hannifin, Thomas County : Kerry

Lisdargan Townland is 902 acres in Cloghane Civil Parish, Corkaguiny Barony.
