Hi,
Both my gt gt grandfather Michael Hanifin & wife Margaret Curran(e) were born in Ventry, Cty Kerry around 1820 – their second son Patrick was my gt grandfather. Patrick(b1842), Michael (b1837) and John (b1852) eventually settled in Ronceverte, WV along with their parents. A daughter, Mary was born in then VA – 1859. Does anyone have any knowlege or connection to them?
Patrick married Johanna Harrington in Green City, VA 1867. His son John was my grandfather.
I was in Ventry & Dingle last Sept and able to view the marriage record of Michael & Margaret and the birth record of Patrick – it was the highlight of my trip!

My grandfather , John Hanifin , was born in Dingle. He married Ellen Harrington. They lived in Ronceverte, WV.
Their daughter, Mary Anna , born Dec. 21.1882. I remember
,my mother saying that a Molly Curran lived in our home
for a while. I believe she may have died there. My grandfather and a Michael Hanifin are buried in Ronceverte,WV cemetary.
