I just wanted to let everyone know that my dad (Dave), and my sister (Melissa), and I are all OK. The fires came within a couple of miles of our houses, but we appear to be out of danger for the moment.

I didn't know that there were other Hannifins in San Diego! My Hannifin family is from Scripps Ranch, although I currently live in Hawaii. My mom's house survived the fires- I am glad to hear that your family is all OK as well. Where do you guys live? Just wanted to wish you well as you recover from the fire devastation.
